💡Learning and Development

The IGCC Learning Academy shifts focus from 'training' to 'life-long learning' and the application of that learning into work.

We encompass not only the technical core competencies of a role, but also develop the functional workforce to become a strategic partner to the organisation, including:

  1. Corporate Essentials – Learning key commercial priorities and challenges and develop strategies/choose appropriate approaches to business challenges depending on priorities. Also includes HSE and QA/QC training.

  2. Soft (Behavioural) Skills – This will compliment the technical competencies with a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, personality traits, etc to enable people to know how best to apply their technical skills, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals.

Our Human Capital department focuses on employee staffing and works to invest in people across the company to look at further opportunities for up-skilling, growth, and benefits.

👔Career development

We create career paths and progression opportunities for Iraqi Nationals aspiring to grow into high technical or management positions within IGCC. We do this through the following:

  • Provide a mechanism to progress and retain high potentials

We are committed to providing our interns with an opportunity to enhance classroom learning through practical career-related work experience.

All our internships have the primary goal of providing students supervision and a chance to learn while contributing to the company's goals.
